Following in the wake of a couple of recently disbanded death metal projects, 'The End Of If' was the first EP by Sheffield-based experimental-rock band Hocus Jumbo. The record focuses mostly on a Stoner rock sound with some progressive and psychedelic elements, whilst also touching on Grunge, Alternative rock and the tradition of Yorkshire Doom. As such it began the HJ tradition of eclectic genre mixing and experimentation.
