I was camping during the summer of 2020 when the term 'Angular Doom' swam into my head as a way of describing the style of music I was just beginning to trial out. Four records and a few detours, wrong turns and failed experiments later, I think I've cracked it: the quintessential 'Angular Doom' record. It's not gonna go down as a landmark moment in the history of human discovery let's be honest, and it would no doubt be universally hated if it were not to be universally ignored. Nevertheless, it sounds pretty epic to me. Fully deserving of a two-star rating (just don't ask whether that's two out of five or two out of ten). And who knows - maybe you'll get something out of it too? One wonders what next? (If this is the future you can just click on the next album to find that out. I'm jealous.)
